Time to get constructive?
An ET report reminds that the boom time for construction companies has arrived. I guess it's pretty good news for some of us who want to end up in this field.
The orders to sales ratio for most of the companies named in the report is more than 2, in fact exceeding 5 for at least one of them. Orders worth a billion dollar fetched by some of the top construciton companies present a pretty good idea of the upswing of the civil infrastructure sector.
So guys, better think before you leave this field for Software. I am sure, there is going to be a HUGE shortage of Civil Engineers soon(if not already), and then any IITian with some years of work experience in this area, will find himself sitting on top of gold mine.
